Living healthy does not have to be complicated. You can start with these simple tips:

1. Eat regular meals. Skipping meals will only increase your cravings. It is recommended to eat three regular meals, with light snacks in between.

2. Increase intake of fresh fruits and vegetables; decrease that of refined carbohydrates such as white rice, white bread and cakes.

3. Drink up. Hydrate yourself with water and fresh fruit juices. Avoid sodas, alcohol and juice drinks that are loaded with calories and sugar.

4. Engage in a physical activity for at least 30 minutes everyday. Select an activity you enjoy, such as walking the dog, swimming, dancing or strolling with your family in the park.
